ONE-ON-ONE PRIVATE TRAINING

BASIC OBEDIENCE CLASS

 

​During this 7-week course (Basic Obedience Class) we will go over the most effective steps of teaching and command to your dog.  You will also be teaching your dog six fundamental commands that all dogs should learn.  These commands include;

 

-Sit

-Down (lay)

-Stay

Leave It

Place

Heel

 

These commands provide the baseline for a relationship with your dog that is rooted in loving guidance, structure, and consistency that all dogs need from their owners.

 

Along with these commands we also work on concepts like recall, and loose leash training to name a few.

 

We also ask each class participant for a few problem behaviors you have with your dog and work on them throughout the course.  Some examples from previous classes have included; crate training, jumping, and nipping.

​PROOF OF VACCINATIONS (RABIES, DISTEMPER, AND BORDETELLA) ARE REQUIRED AND MUST BE SENT BY FAX OR E-MAIL PRIOR TO ARRIVAL.  BORDETELLA NEEDS TO BE ADMINISTERED AT LEAST 14 DAYS PRIOR TO ARRIVAL.
